Bridget began her career as a Candidate Attorney in a general practice in Cape Town in 2016 and was appointed as an Associate in 2018. Bridget joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as an Associate in the Real Estate Law practice in 2021. Bridget was promoted to Senior Associate in April 2023.

Bridget has the following experience:

• Drafting of and advising on sale and other property agreements, both residential and commercial.
• General conveyancing practice in respect of residential and commercial property including registration of transfers and bonds as well as various property endorsements for both conventional and sectional title property.
• Managing of the transfer and bond registration process including client, risk and financial management in the transaction.
• Drafting and registration of notarial agreements including notarial deeds of cession and antenuptial contracts.
• Drafting and reviewing of residential and commercial lease agreements and advising on lease (landlord/tenant) and joint owner disputes.
• Conducting property due diligence investigations and compiling of property due diligence reports.
• Conducting research on property related legislation.
• Advising clients on property matters in general.
