Magano and Nhika noted that exciting developments are underway in Namibia with the launch of the Namibia National Digital Strategy 2025–2029 (NDS), dubbed “The Framework for Digital Transformation”. This strategy represents a bold and comprehensive roadmap to harness digital technologies for economic growth, social inclusion, and broader societal advancement.

They explained that the NDS seeks to leverage digital innovation to drive sustainable development and improve access to opportunities across the country.

Magano and Nhika further highlighted that the strategy aligns with other state policies and aims to address longstanding challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, digital skills gaps, and cybersecurity vulnerabilities. However, its success will ultimately depend on effective implementation. At its core, the strategy is built on five key strategic pillars.
