CDH receives Level 1 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) rating

Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (CDH) is pleased to have received a Level 1 Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) rating in 2019. This has increased from Level 2 that was achieved in 2018.

The firm is committed to the objectives of B-BBEE and actively integrates these principles into the firm.

This Level 1 B-BBEE rating is in line with the revised codes promulgated in 2013, that included additional requirements for the status to be met. CDH has made meaningful organisational changes to embrace the spirit of B-BBEE, including the formation of a B-BBEE Committee. Our new Level 1 rating will also benefit clients by virtue of the recognition of 135% of their legal services spend with our firm for purposes of their own BEE scorecards.

CDH is dedicated to aligning with these codes and this remains a priority for the firm.
