About Amelia
Amelia spent more than 15 years in practice at top tier international and local firms before making a move to the client side where she gained invaluable insight into the needs of clients and the practical client-side aspects of financing transactions. After five years in investment banking, Amelia returned to practice and joined the CDH team in 2024.

- Acting for the funders in relation to the funding of Intertoll International Holdings B.V. acquisition of 50% of the shares in Bombela Concession Company Proprietary) Limited (Gautrain).
- Acting for the funders in relation to the funding of "in-project" preference share funding in Seriti Ummbila Emoyeni 155 MW Wind Project.
- Acting for the funders in relation to numerous equity refinancings of shareholdings in renewable energy projects.
- Numerous securitisation transactions, including the first to market in South Africa of each of a mortgage-backed securitisation transaction, a multi-seller asset-backed commercial paper conduit, and a synthetic collateralised debt transaction.
- The restructure of the Saambou home loan book post the bankruptcy of the Bank.
- Numerous large projects, including the Richards Bay Minerals Coal Terminal and the Two Rivers platinum mine.
