Annemari brings decades of forensic legal experience, having held various senior positions as a director and forensic consultant. She has led teams that provide comprehensive, integrated forensic services, including fraud investigations, anti-corruption compliance, forensic technology services, and financial reporting disputes. Annemari is a renowned anti-fraud professional and has overseen various high-profile corporate and white-collar investigations. She currently holds a key position as board member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Board of Regents - the highest governing body of the ACFE’s membership. Annemari is the first female member of the Board of Regents from Africa, and she is also the Vice-President of the SA Chapter of the ACFE Board. She was a founder member of the Institute of Commercial Forensic Practitioners (ICFP) and also served as a director of the ICFP.

Rimo joins with over 21 years of experience in fraud, workplace misconduct, corruption, and financial crime investigations. His expertise includes digital forensics, anti-bribery and corruption strategies, anti-money laundering compliance, and eDiscovery. Rimo has led major investigations and advisory engagements across Africa, the USA, and the UK, working with both private and public sector clients.

Brent Williams, CEO of CDH, says, “We are thrilled to welcome Annemari and Rimo to the firm. In an environment where fraud, corruption, and unethical business practices continue to undermine trust and operational efficiency, clients need to have access to strategic legal and forensic guidance. With their appointment, we are strengthening our capacity to deliver sophisticated, proactive, and cross-sector solutions to complex investigations, embedding our commitment to corporate transparency, good governance, and risk mitigation.”

Rishaban Moodley, Head of Dispute Resolution, agrees, “Their appointments further entrench CDH’s position as the go-to firm for corporate investigations in SA and beyond. As organisations face increasing regulatory scrutiny and the evolving challenges of financial crime, having a dedicated white-collar investigation offering allows us to support clients with end-to-end investigative, advisory, and litigation services. We look forward to the depth of value Annemari and Rimo will bring to our clients across sectors and jurisdictions, from strengthening internal controls to guiding clients through high-stakes disputes with professionalism and precision.”
