About Charlene
Charlene completed her articles at A&O Shearman, gaining experience in banking, project finance, and disputes. She qualified as an Attorney in South Africa in May 2021 and joined the projects team at A&O Shearman in August 2022, where she advised lenders, sponsors, and developers on various project finance transactions, with a particular focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. She joined the White & Case projects team in January 2025 and worked closely with the Paris and London teams in connection with the financing of energy and infrastructure projects in the Middle East and Africa.
