Public Sector: Administrative, Regulatory, Constitutional Law

  • Advising in relation to both the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and the associated regulations and National Treasury instructions thereunder.
  • Providing regulatory advise on the options available to a joint venture that consists of a private company and the Central Energy Fund (SOC) LIMITED for purposes of submitting a proposal under the Emergency Power Programme or any other programme to implement their project.
  • Regulatory advise to clients on obtaining various forms of licenses from the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority in terms of the Medicines and Related Substances Act 101 of 1965.

Aviation

  • Providing regulatory advise and appearing before the Civil Aviation Appeal Committee on behalf of the South African Civil Aviation Authority to defend an appeal against the decision of the Director to approve a helistop.
  • Representing South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) in the Civil Aviation Appeal Committee in the matter between Dr Rudi Britz and the Director of SACAA.
