CDH appoints internationally recognised forensic expert Tendai Jangara and team

In response to a growing need in the market, Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (CDH) has appointed legal forensic expert Tendai Jangara, together with her team comprising of two forensic investigators and a candidate attorney. Tendai has fifteen years of experience across Africa in forensic legal services and corporate governance to clients in the public and private sectors, adding further depth and expertise to CDH’s current forensic capabilities and service offering.

Joining Tendai at CDH is Forensic Accountant and Investigator Hilary Chapfuwa, Forensic Investigator Sithembiso Nzama, and Candidate Attorney, Tyler Lillienfeldt.

Tendai’s cross-border career highlights include investigating and successfully resolving multi-million-rand irregular expenditure transactions, providing advice on regulation, compliance and corporate governance matters as per legislative requirements and King IV standards, as well as developing and delivering fraud awareness strategies and training for clients and aligned forensic functions to enterprise-wide processes.

Tendai’s legal forensics career commenced in 2008 in the banking sector where she successfully established proactive fraud risk management strategies. Following this, she held various positions at leading companies, providing full-spectrum forensic services. Her most recent position was Head of Forensic Investigations and Advisory Service at a South African law firm. With this combination of Africa-wide experience, Tendai brings with her a wealth of expertise to the team, the firm, and clients.
