The past two years has seen huge changes in the provision of legal services and the needs of the firm’s clients, as lockdown forced the legal sector to embrace technology and get comfortable with a new way of working. It is uncertain if define a new normal, although all indications are that it will be some kind of hybrid.
CDH must be agile, as COVID-19 remains very real and has proven to be anything but predictable. The partners of CDH are confident that Tim has the qualities and experience to guide the firm through the next four years, and the varied challenges that will undoubtedly be faced.
Tim has more than thirty years’ experience as a dispute resolution attorney and those skills will be put to good use in his new role. He is not new to management having served the firm on various committees and having spent the past 10 years as Head of the Dispute Resolution practice area where he showed deep care for the people in his broader team and for his clients, strong administrative skills, and a dedication to excellence, all tempered by his quick sense of humour. Tim does admit to a few apprehensive moments, but he is clearly excited to face this new challenge.
While holding the position of Chairperson, Tim will continue his duties as a director in our firm and as Head of the Dispute Resolution practice.
