Directives governing the use of public transport under lockdown level 4

In partnership with ProBono.org, CDH's Pro Bono & Human Rights Practice will be rolling out a series of short, informative COVID-19 related videos aimed at vulnerable communities across the country. The videos intend to summarise and explain some of the prevailing COVID-19 national regulations and directives in a manner that is understandable and easily accessible.

The first in this series of videos discusses the DIRECTIVES GOVERNING THE USE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORT UNDER LOCKDOWN LEVEL 4.

Please note: A new directive, effective from 22 May 2020, has done away with the time restrictions on the operating times of public transport discussed in the first part of this video. Under this new directive, the time restrictions we discuss in this video no longer apply, and there are no longer time restrictions on the operation of public transport. Also note that as per this new directive there is no longer a time restriction on the use of public transport for food delivery services (and food delivery services are no longer limited to hot food delivery).

We will do our best to alert you to any further changes made to these directives while under LEVEL 4 by editing this caption as needed.
