CDH Chief Executive Officer Brent Williams extended a warm welcome to Rachel: “Despite the uncertainty of our current situation, we are continuing to build a future-focussed leading law firm – albeit in a different form from the one that we envisaged at the beginning of the year. We continue to be talent-centric, building the firm’s strength and resilience, our competitiveness, and our sustained ability to serve our clients with excellence within the new normal.”
Rachel focuses on corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, the negotiation and preparation of a wide range of commercial agreements, due diligence investigations and reports, legal opinions, advising on and assisting clients with B-BBEE compliance and transactions, and corporate structures (including trusts).
Rachel acts as lead attorney for many local and international companies in transactions involving acquisitions or disposals and corporate restructures. In addition, she also assists international clients to set up businesses in South Africa. This includes advice on financing, exchange control and regulatory approvals. Her clients include multinationals in retail, IT, insurance, banking, mining, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Furthermore, Rachel has been recommended in Legal 500, Corporate, Commercial and M&A for 2019.
“Welcome to CDH Rachel, we wish you a long and prosperous career with us,” concluded Williams.
