CDH's Private Equity advised Metier in establishing the Metier Capital Growth Fund III

CDH's Private Equity (Investment Funds) team advised Metier in establishing the Metier Capital Growth Fund III (a parallel fund structure in South Africa and Mauritius), which raised over US$182 million at its first closing, with further commitments expected by final close to exceed its targeted fund size of US$200 million.
 
The fund has a geographic focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and is expected to make eight to twelve equity and equity-related investments into mid-market companies with high growth features in sectors that benefit from regional economic and demographic trends such as population growth and increased urbanisation.
