According to the PMR.africa annual national survey of legal firms, a random sample of 300 respondents who use South Africa’s leading law firms rated DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr first across a range of the 29 most important attributes clients require in a legal firm.

PMR.africa is an independent research-based monthly periodical and one of the leading business magazines targeting South African leaders in business and government.

On accepting the Diamond Arrow Award for outstanding achievement at a PMR.africa awards breakfast ceremony on 29 February, DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr chief executive officer Brent Williams said the law firm partners, professionals and support staff were “proud that clients continue to recognise the high levels of client service and leadership we strive so hard to deliver."
Over the last nine years, DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr has achieved the No. 1 ranking six times and has twice been ranked second.

Commenting on this significant achievement, Williams said; “I believe a constant client centric approach and emphasis on delivering value-added service is at the heart of our firm's success.

"In these economically difficult times, lawyers are being asked to deliver more for less. Clients want more valuable and more effective services, delivered as a non-billable cost. At DLA Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, we do everything possible to deliver added value on a sustained basis,” Williams said.
