Christopher joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as a Candidate Attorney in 2023, and after two years of rotations as a CA he was promoted to Associate in 2025.

Areas of expertise

Experience

  • Representing Vodacom (Pty) Ltd (“Vodacom”) in large merger between Vodacom and Business Venture Investments no 2213 (Pty) Ltd before the Competition authorities.
  • Involved in the investigation of restrictive practices in the motor industry.
  • Representing the SABC in an on-going investigation of its channel distribution agreement with Multichoice.
  • Provides advice regarding the implementation of Competition Act compliance programmes and interpretation of the Competition Act.
