Chané was admitted as an attorney in 2017. Chané completed her articles at Hogan Lovells and has worked at, inter alia, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She was a Senior Associate at Malan Scholes before joining CDH in 2024.  Chané has experience in sale and acquisition transactions and all transactional agreements related thereto, with a particular focus in the mining industry.

• Assisted Connect on its dual acquisition of communication and cloud solution providers, Pivotal Data (Pty) Ltd and Illation (Pty) Ltd

• Mergers and Acquisitions, conducting contractual and corporate due diligence investigations, drafting of contract mining, offtake and processing agreements. 

• Drafting of shareholders agreements and memorandum of incorporations in compliance with the Companies Act, 2008. 

• Drafting of cession and pledge agreements, guarantees, loan agreements, subscription agreements and trust deeds for purposes of complying with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2003.
