CDH South Africa appoints renowned Disputes Lawyer, Marelise van der Westhuizen, to its accomplished Dispute Resolution practice

Marelise brings to CDH this outstanding expertise and client-centricity in dispute resolution, particularly in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, banking, state-owned enterprises, mining, minerals, natural resources, and energy. Marelise also has extensive experience in advising the financial sector on applicable regulatory laws and in particular compliance with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities Act. In addition to her expertise as a lawyer, Marelise led the dispute resolution department at Norton Rose Fulbright SA before taking up the position of Chairperson and subsequently CEO and leading that firm successfully through some difficult years including the COVID crisis.
