Phetheni Nkuna, Director in our Employment Law practice joined eNCA to discuss laws adapted to prevent and eliminate harassment in the workplace.

13 Sep 2023 09:45 Minutes TV interview

Phetheni delved into the 2022 Code of Good Practice which introduced a wider definition of harassment including verbal bullying, demoting somebody without justification, abusing disciplinary processes, cyber bullying, passive aggression, condescending eye contact, just to name a few.

These changes are welcome as they provide employees and employers clarity and guidance on identifying what constitutes harassment, their respective rights and obligations, and how to deal with harassment. Watch the interview here
