CDH is working with the PSG Group on a complex deal, valued at over R20 billion, that incorporates M&A, capital markets and restructuring.
Our team is advising PSG on the restructuring of the group, which includes the unbundling of all PSG Group's shares in PSG Konsult, Kaap Agri, Curro, Stadio and CA Sales, which are all listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. This restructuring falls under the Companies Act 71 of 2008 because, ahead of its delisting, the PSG Group is disposing of the majority of its assets and repurchasing shares from the majority of shareholders in terms of a scheme of arrangement.

The discretion of a commissioner to dismiss a matter and the amended CCMA rules
Section 138(5)(a) of the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 (LRA) provides a commissioner with the power and discretion to dismiss a matter in instances where the referring party fails to appear for the arbitration.
