The discussion hosted by Sam Gituku sheds light on the avenues for public participation and the importance of participation in the 2024 Finance Bill in providing learning and feedback for the government.

Alex emphasises that Kenya's Finance Bill 2024 will shape the country's future with input from various experts. Alex further highlighted some tax proposals in the government's Medium-Term Revenue Strategy which we expect to see in Finance Bill 2024 including motor vehicle tax, withholding tax on supply of goods to public entities, and the amendments to the Data Protection Act to allow the revenue authority access to information to collect taxes.
