Kara Meiring

Associate

Kara Meiring is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution practice, practicing with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation, as well as business rescue, restructuring and insolvency. Kara assists in advising corporate clients in a variety of company law disputes and has experience in providing general corporate litigation advice regarding inter alia commercial lease contracts, financial assistance in terms of the Companies Act and POPI compliance.

Kara joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as a Candidate Attorney in 2020. She served her articles of clerkship whilst serving in CDH's Dispute Resolution, Employment Law, and Corporate & Commercial Practice. 

She was appointed as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice in 2022 and admitted as an Attorney and Notary of the High Court of South Africa in the same year.
