Robert started his legal career as a pupil at a law firm in Kenya in 2012 and he subsequently practiced at other firms where he was Associate and in 2022, Robert joined Kieti Law LLP as a Senior Associate.

• Acting for the developer of one of the largest foreign projects in the real estate sector in Sub-Saharan Africa comprising a USD. 400 Million mixed-use state-of-the-art development in the heart of Nairobi consisting of one of the tallest office towers in Africa, a boutique mall, a five-star hotel and three residential apartment blocks consisting of an aggregate of 514 apartments including advising on the overall project structure, management structure, legal and regulatory issues and compliance, legal risks as well as drafting the standard form of agreements for sale of apartments in the development.
• Acting for the developer of an affordable low-income project comprising retail space and 1,000 low-cost homes in the Athi River, Machakos County, Kenya including drafting agreements for sale and long term sub-leases.
• Representing the developer of office and retail spaces in Nairobi County, Kenya consisting of over 120,000 square feet in drafting and negotiating agreements for sale and long term leases in respect of the sale of the units in the building and drafting the short term commercial leases in respect of all the retail and office spaces in the building retained by the developer.
• Acting for the proprietors of one of Kenya’s largest shopping malls in Kenya consisting of over 500,000 square feet in respect to granting licenses and sub-leases for retail, commercial and recreational space and advising on the expansion of the mall.
• Acting for a high-end luxury hotel in Watamu, Kilifi County, Kenya in connection with its re-development and refurbishment including advising on the overall project structure, management structure, legal and regulatory issues and compliance, legal risks as well as drafting the standard form of agreements for sale and leases for the sale of serviced apartments in the hotel.
• Advising on the structuring of a world-class technology and innovation hub with mixed use in Machakos County, Kenya, which is also a key flagship project of Kenya’s Vision 2030 economic development portfolio.
• Representing the developer of a project comprising five office blocks and a Four Star hotel with related amenities and facilities located in Spring Valley, Nairobi including advising on the overall project and management structure as well as drafting the standard form of letter of offer, agreements for sale and lease for the sale of units in the development.
• Representing the developer of a 1,000 residential unit estate together with a recreational development in the Donholm area of Nairobi in the drafting of the agreements for sale and long term sub-leases.
• Advising on the structuring and development of a golf resort and gated community residential estate situate on 774 acres parcel of land in Mweiga, Nyeri County.
• Representing the developer of a 70 unit middle-class residential development in the Syokimau, Machakos County including advising on the overall project structure, management structure, legal and regulatory issues and compliance as well as drafting the standard form agreements for sale and sub-leases.

• The Legal 500 2021 EMEA named Robert as Rising star in Real Estate and Construction, Kenya.
