Palesa graduated from the University of Pretoria with an LL.B degree in 2014 and commenced her career as a Candidate Attorney at MacRobert Attorneys in Pretoria, where she served her articles of clerkship. During her time at MacRobert Attorneys, she rotated within the different Legal Divisions and attained valuable experience in Corporate and Commercial transactions, General Litigation, Environmental Law and Property Law. She completed a Practical Legal training Course at the University of Pretoria in the year 2015.

In the year 2016, the High Court of the Republic of South Africa admitted Palesa as an Attorney and Conveyancer and subsequent to which, she commenced her practice as an Associate in the Conveyancing Department at MacRobert Attorneys.

With ample experience in the Real Estate practice, Palesa then joined the Real Estate division at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr in 2017 as an Associate and she is currently expanding her expertise in the commercial and residential property transactions including registration of notarial bonds, mining rights and other forms of security registration.

She is passionate about influencing positive innovation within the corporate space and is currently serving as a member of the young leaders association within the firm.

Palesa has been involved in various real estate matters including:

  • Advising on security instruments pertinent to various commercial transactions;
  • Drafting and Executing security documents;
  • Managing registration of mortgage bonds in favour of various financial institutions;
  • Advising on Conveyancing principles regarding various methods of transfer and registration of rights;
  • Attending to commercial and residential property transfers;
  • Opening and registration of sectional title schemes;
  • Conducting due diligence investigations;
  • Drafting and registration of servitudes;
  • Drafting various agreements relating to acquisitions and alienation of property;
  • Advising, drafting and executing Antenuptial Contracts;
  • Advising and attending to late Estate Transfers.
