Senior Associate
Linda Coffee-Kotze is a Senior Associate in the Trusts & Estates practice. Her experience includes estate planning advice in respect of both local and offshore assets, for both South African and foreign nationals, drafting and updating of wills, advising on the validity of wills, estate administration, all aspects of taxation of deceased estates, including pre- and post-death income tax, estate duty and capital gains tax, advising and assisting beneficiaries in contested estates on protecting and enforcing their rights, formation, and registration of inter vivos trusts and testamentary trusts, formation and registration of special trusts in terms of the Income Tax Act, as well as general trust administration; and curatorship administration.
Linda has also been admitted as a Notary Public and has experience in drafting various notarial agreements, including Ante Nuptial Contracts and Notarial Deeds of Amendment to Trust Deeds.
Linda joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as Candidate Attorney in 2014 and was appointed as an Associate in the Trusts and Estates Practice in 2016. Linda was promoted to Senior Associate in 2019.
