Career

Kgosi began his career as a Candidate Attorney at Smit Sewgoolam Inc. He joined Hogan Lovells (SA) Inc in 2014 as an Associate and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2016.  He joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc as a Senior Associate in 2017. Kgosi was promoted to Director in 2019.

  • Assisting Banks and other creditors in insolvency related matters.
  • Conducting enquiries into the affairs of companies in liquidation.
  • Drafting of liquidation and sequestration applications.
  • Drafting of applications for the extension of liquidators' powers.
  • Litigation arising as a result of the liquidation of companies.
  • Perfecting of notarial bonds.
  • Advising business rescue practitioners and creditors during business rescue proceedings.
  • General commercial litigation.
  • The Legal 500 EMEA 2020 - 2023 recommended Kgosi as a next generation lawyer for dispute resolution.
