Bheki joined Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr as a Candidate Attorney in January 2015. He was appointed as an Associate in 2017 in our Employment practice. In 2020 Bheki was promoted to Senior Associate.

  • Research and draft opinions in all aspect of competition law and employment law.
  • Involved in the prosecution and opposition of urgent applications including strike interdicts, other forms of restraints and enforcements both in the High Court and Labour Court.
  • Involved in disciplinary actions and arbitrations.
  • Involved in Competition Law litigation in the Competition Tribunal and Competition Appeal Court
  • Involved in preparing and filing of small, intermediate and large mergers.
  • Conducting competition and market research in markets including insurance, motor vehicle, private healthcare, commercial and residential property and security companies for competition analysis.
  • Reviewing and opposing review applications at the Labour Court.
  • Referring and opposing referrals at the Labour Court.
  • Advise on and opposing section 197 applications.
