  • Preparation of legal opinion for Ithemba Property Development and the Divercity Urban Property Fund (Pty) Ltd to provide international investors with insight into the operation of the South African land registration system.
  • Registration of sectional title schemes, registration of homeowner's associations , drafting rules for community schemes.
  • Preparation of a comprehensive Methodology detailing property ownership verification and implementation steps for land transfer, by various methods of acquisition by the state on behalf of South African National Parks and the Provincial Government. Nabeela has a detailed understanding of a plethora of legislation that affects land issues from the perspective of the state and the socio-economic issues that need to be considered.
  • Preparation of comprehensive protocols on various methods of land transfer in South Africa including transfer of residential property, Partition transfers; rectification transfers and exchange among others.
  • Preparation of protocols of sub-divisions and consolidations of land. She has also registered a number of these transactions on behalf of property developers.
  • Nabeela has led a project of Shell Downstream South Africa Limited to obtain over one hundred replacement title deeds.
  • Skilled at legal research and drafting, Nabeela has been involved in the preparation of numerous sale agreements, building agreements and notarial lease agreements
  • Nabeela has authored over ten articles dealing with relevant legal issues and providing clear guidance on property law related subject matter.
  • Nabeela has with ProBono.org, a public interest law clearing house at the Deeds Office Pro Bono Help desk and has been exposed to issues such as evictions, illegal occupation, fraudulent sales, lost title deeds and general housing issues suffered by the indigent and vulnerable population groups in South Africa.
  • Nabeela has played a supporting role in commercial property finance transactions and commercial mortgage, notarial bond registrations and development projects , including the development of waterfall city in Johannesburg.
