Mondo joined Cliffe Dekker as a director in 2005 (she was previously the Chief Legal Counsel of the Competition Commission of South Africa and Acting Deputy Commissioner). After a period of just over a year at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, Mondo was appointed as the head of department of the competition law practice. Mondo is regarded as a thought leader in competition law and has been featured in various business publications. She has also been quoted, on competition issues, in several media including the Business Day and Mail & Guardian.
In balancing her career with family and lifestyle, Mondo enjoys the bush and an annual escape to the Greek Islands which she finds very relaxing.
