Career
Allan began his career as a Candidate Attorney at Solomon and Nicholson, where he was subsequently promoted to an Associate. He then joined Slomowitz Myburgh Cawood & Brits as an Associate and was later promoted to Director. He was one of the founding partners of Smuts and Reid before joining Savage Jooste and Adams in 1997 as Head of their Corporate, Commercial and Intellectual Property department. In February 2008 Allan joined Cliffe Dekker (now Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr) as a Director.
