Our Environmental Policy
Recognising the critical importance of natural resources to
economic growth and sustainable development, we strive to reduce our
environmental impacts in all areas of our business. To achieve this we are
implementing an environmental management system informed by DLA Piper's
requirements internationally.
Key Focus Areas:
- Reduction and efficient use of water, energy and paper;
- Reduction, re-use and recycling of waste;
- Seeking to have our new building in Johannesburg, soon to be
constructed, green star-rated by the Green Building Council of South Africa. It
will be energy and water efficient.
- Creating environmental awareness amongst clients, staff and
business partners
- Offering pro bono services to various environmental
NGO's
